The GranTursimo & GranCabrio suspension, particularly the Skyhook system, is now an aging platform often compromised by component wear and potential electronic failures. The ASM Coilover System is a comprehensive, direct-fit solution engineered to replace every critical component, restoring and radically enhancing the chassis dynamics of your GranTursimo and to improve on the base setup by levering techniques and methods employed on the Trofeo & Stradale.
Developed through years of obsessive setup and R&D on Maserati platforms, this kit is built on a modular philosophy. This allows us to provide a system with precision-tuned handling characteristics while ensuring every individual component is fully serviceable. This design improves performance while representing a significant upgrade in long-term serviceability over the OEM "sealed" units.
This is a complete bolt-on conversion, replacing all four dampers, springs, top mounts, and lower bushes.
Key Dynamic Improvements
Installation of the ASM system provides a quantifiable transformation in handling fidelity:
- Improved Turn-In: Delivers significantly more positive front-axle response and stability.
- Reduced Brake Dive: Chassis dive under hard braking is dramatically reduced, maintaining platform stability.

- Full Adjustability: Complete ride height control, from OEM to aggressive lowering, independent of spring preload.

- 30-Way Damping Adjustment: Manual mono-tube damper adjustment, easily accessible from the engine bay (front) and trunk (rear).
- Independent Ride Height: Full-tap threaded body allows ride height to be set without compressing the spring, preserving damper stroke and ride quality at any height.

Variant 1: GT (Grand Touring)
This kit is the ideal solution for owners seeking to restore and improve upon the factory 4.7 Sport. It is engineered to provide OEM-level comfort comparable to the standard MC line and MC dampers but with vastly superior body control and handling precision.
- Application: F1 & ZF Automatic & GranCabrio
- Profile: The perfect go-to for repairing a worn factory suspension while gaining a significant performance advantage.
Variant 2: GTS (Grand Touring Sport)
This is our high-performance configuration. With firmer spring rates and a revised damping bias, the GTS kit is aimed squarely at exploiting the 4.7 F1's transaxle layout for maximum driver engagement. It is designed to deliver handling characteristics similar to a GranTurismo MC. While comfortable for long-distance highway use, its performance focus is more evident on rough roads this setup is aimed at the occasional track day and very spirited used.
- Application: Primarily recommended for F1 models to maximize transaxle chassis dynamics.
- Profile: For the owner who prioritizes ultimate handling response and a "connected-to-the-road" feel.
Available Options & Upgrades
- Skyhook Delete Kit: An essential electronic module that integrates with the factory ECU to eliminate any dash warning lights from the removal of the original electronic suspension.

- GT kit's are intended for you, we can make them with even softer spring rates to give softer ride comparable to a Quattroporte V
- GranCabrio
- GranCabrio kits are tuned for OEM level comfort as the convertible setup induces a lot of chassis flex the final setup is more damper preset, relative to a coupe the effective spring-rates are lower to be suite the frame.
- MC Stradale (F1)
- We offer a similar spring rates to the stock or nudging more towards the Trofeo/GT4 specification, please contact us so we fine tune your setup.
