Application for NA1 (1990-1996 / 5-Speed)
For owners of the original 5-speed NSX, this is a direct, bolt-in replacement for the factory 7.1kg single-mass flywheel. The significant weight reduction is the key to unlocking the famously sharp and immediate engine response of the coveted NA1 Type-R, completely transforming the feel of your C30A engine.
Application for NA2 (1997-2005 / 6-Speed)
For owners of the later 6-speed models, this flywheel serves as a critical performance conversion component. It allows you to replace the extremely heavy, response-dampening OEM dual-mass flywheel with a lightweight single-mass system. This conversion offers a dramatic, night-and-day improvement in engine responsiveness.
- Conversion Note: To install this flywheel on a 6-speed car, you must use a clutch kit designed for the 5-speed (NA1) models using a NSX-R input shaft
